Boryviter and the ESDC Launch a Seminar on European Counter-UAS Capabilities

The seminar “European Counter-UAS Readiness: Strategic Awareness and Capability Development (EU-CAP)”, will take place in Brussels on 25-26 November 2026 and will focus on strengthening European readiness to counter rapidly evolving unmanned aerial system threats.

The two-day event will bring together European decision-makers and senior civilian and military professionals at the strategic and operational levels. Drawing directly on Ukraine’s recent operational experience and contributions from Ukrainian experts, participants will examine evolving UAS threats and Counter-UAS responses, including preparedness, capability development, detection and mitigation, and civil-military coordination.

The programme will address the role of Counter-UAS in the future security and defence architecture, defence industry and R&D priorities, interoperability and standardisation, procurement, personnel policy and training systems, command and control, as well as real-time adaptation to evolving threats.

For Boryviter, the seminar provides an opportunity to bring Ukraine’s experience into the European professional discussion and contribute to translating lessons identified in Ukraine into approaches relevant to European security and defence.
