Advancing Interoperability: Boryviter and Swedish Defence University Deliver Joint Course for EU Officials

The scale and intensity of modern warfare require defence institutions to adapt their learning cycles rapidly. As traditional analytical frameworks often prove insufficient against dynamic, technology-dense threats on the contemporary battlefield, there is a critical need for updated, field-tested methodologies.

Addressing this capability gap, the Boryviter Centre of Excellence, acting as the official representative of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) in Ukraine, partnered with the Swedish Defence University (SEDU) to deliver a specialised residential course in Stockholm. The programme brought together 25 civilian and military officials from across EU Member States. Boryviter's Subject-Matter Experts utilised sanitised operational data to deconstruct real-world challenges—from navigating drone-monitored "grey zones" to implementing rapid capability adaptation. This milestone followed the official visit of ESDC Executive Director Alberto Giovanni Bragadin to Kyiv, which formalised strategic coordination between the institutions.

The initiative directly enhances interoperability between Ukrainian and European defence structures. By establishing shared analytical protocols, Boryviter ensures that allied forces can process combat data, adapt doctrines, and forge joint capabilities using a unified, battle-tested methodology.
