From Data Overload to Actionable Intelligence: Boryviter Deploys AI Solutions for Combat Analytics

Modern warfare is a data-heavy environment. With thousands of uncrewed systems operating daily, military headquarters are frequently overwhelmed by raw intelligence streams. Human analysts alone cannot process this volume fast enough to provide the timely operational awareness required for rapid decision-making.

To counter this information overload, the Laboratory of Intelligent Technologies at the Boryviter Centre of Excellence develops and integrates autonomous AI solutions directly into operational cycles. The Laboratory successfully deployed the “ODCR Assistant”—a specialised neural network that automates the passive collection of open-source intelligence (OSINT). Processing over 1,000 adversarial publications daily through a dual-phase keyword filtering system, the AI structures observations based on the NATO Lessons Learned framework. Concurrently, the lab deployed automated audio transcription systems operating exclusively within closed, secure IT infrastructures.

These integrations drastically reduce the cognitive load on military staff. By automating raw data processing, Boryviter enables commanders to focus on rapid decision-making and tactical adaptation, maximising personnel efficiency in highly contested environments.
