Digitalising Combat Adaptation: Boryviter Co-Hosts Second Annual Conference and Unveils National Lessons Learned Portal
Boryviter co-hosted the Second Annual Conference and presented the digital Lessons Learned Portal—a secure ecosystem that automates the collection of After-Action Reviews directly from the trenches.
Frontline units generate vital tactical insights daily. However, without a secure, centralised digital infrastructure, critical observations risk being lost in bureaucratic silos rather than being transformed into life-saving institutional knowledge that can be rapidly scaled across the military.
To resolve this bottleneck, the Boryviter Centre of Excellence, in strategic cooperation with the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, co-hosted the Second Annual Conference “Lessons Learned in the Dynamic Defence Environment.” The event gathered commanders from combat units and international partners, including NATO JALLC. The conference culminated in the presentation of the digital Lessons Learned Portal. Initially prototyped by Boryviter’s Analytical Department and subsequently scaled at the state level, this secure ecosystem automates the collection of After-Action Reviews (AAR) directly from the trenches.
The portal fundamentally accelerates the doctrinal adaptation cycle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The system institutionalises raw battlefield data, enabling the rapid adjustment of tactical preparation programmes, the modernisation of weaponry, and the immediate dissemination of validated practices across all combat units.
